One of our readers sent us this advertisement which speaks for itself. It appeared in the October 7th 2002 issue of Newsweek Magazine.

The single most significant concern that short men have about their height is their lack of romantic possibilities. Many studies have proved that women strongly prefer taller men. Short men marry less often and father fewer children than taller men. Some of these studies are highlighted in our Research and New Articles sections.

It is no joke to those short men who must spend their lives alone, with little hope for companionship. An yet in this advertisement, Toshiba makes light of it. It is true that the grief of other's makes for comedy but by this time we should progressed above such insults. Toshiba should be ashamed to associate their name with this advertisement.
